What do I need to bring with me when i visit the showroom?

We usually advise you to bring your countertop rough measurements. Another tip is to bring all your tile, wall and floor sample to help you pick out the  cabinets and countertops that best matches with your home. 

Can I use Marble for my kitchen countertop?

Marble is a very porous and soft stone. With that being said, it is not recommended to be used in a busy area like the kitchen countertop since it does stain and etch very easily.

Will granite raise the value of my home?

Yes. Remodeling your countertops and putting granite will definitely raise the value of your home.

What special precautions should be taken when cooking near quartz? ​

Although quartz is a very durable material it is very important to take proper care of it.Extreme heat can affect quartz countertops. We recommend using hot pads and cutting boards while cooking your meals.

How thick are countertops? ​

There's two choices of thickness for countertops 2cm and 3cm. 3cm is usually standard thickness for countertops, but you do have the option of 2cm.

Why do some countertops have seams and others do not?

Depending on slab size and how long your countertops are, there may need a seam. Another reason why it's common to have seam is because of the size and weight, in some cases we need a seam for the countertop to be able to fit through the door when transporting it inside the home.

Do I have to have my kitchen cabinet design when ordering my cabinets?

No. Stonegate will measure your space and work with you to arrange a cabinet design of choice. We will also provide a 2D and 3D design of your cabinets when ordering with us. 

How long will my cabinets take to arrive?

Depending on the brand and color of cabinets it usually takes 3-8 weeks for your cabinets to be delivered.
